Jeffrey Walker joined the firm in 1992,
and is Principal and Managing Director for USRC.
He has
been involved in consulting and appraisal engagements for all commercial
property types, including over four hundred hotel analyses.
His hospitality consulting experience includes both full- and
limited-service hotels, national destination resorts, conference centers, and casino hotels.
His valuation experience includes several hotel portfolios for both
initial public offerings and liquidation from bankruptcy.
He received the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1999, and was awarded the Certified Hospitality Marketing Executive
designation of HSMAI in 1994.
Additionally,
he has extensive experience in the appraisal of industrial, retail,
apartment, office, casino and golf properties in the United States and
Canada. He has extensive experience in the appraisal of nationally
recognized trophy properties. In each of the past five years, he personally appraised over $1
billion in real estate annually.
Mr.
Walker's previous experience includes various hotel and restaurant
positions. Most recently he
served as Director of Sales and Marketing with Hyatt Hotels Corporation,
where he received the "Hyatt Director of Sales of the Year"
award.
